Our research shows that hydrophilicity, as used in Solara, is more effective for self-cleaning than traditional ceramic coatings, allowing rainwater to flow closely and wash away dirt and grime more effectively.

Solara's nano-particles are photocatalytic, harnessing natural sunlight to enhance the self-cleaning effect. When exposed to sunlight, these particles generate highly oxidative free radicals and reactive oxygen, breaking down organic pollutants on the panels.

Solara's anti-static properties reduce surface resistivity to below 10⁹ Ω, preventing dust, sand, and pollutants from easily attaching. Coated panel surfaces will now be static dissipative.
